Day 1

    Free day in Yerevan Arrival in Yerevan International airport Zvartnots. Transfer and hotel accommodation. Free day in Yerevan.

Day 2

    Yerevan city tour Breakfast at the hotel. A city tour in Yerevan, one of the ancient cities in the world: Republic Square, History Museum, Opera house then visit Erebuni Museum and the ruins of ancient Fortress, where you can see Yerevan’s “Birth Certificate”. Visit Victory Park to see the panoramic view of Yerevan. Visit Cascade, huge stairway gracefully connecting the downtown areas and the residential areas, located on the surrounding hills . Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 3

    Yerevan - Khor Virap - Areni - Noravank - Goris Breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Drive to Khor Virap Monastery where the Biblical Mount Ararat reveals its breathtaking view when the weather is favorable. Sightseeing Khor Virap, where Grigor the Illuminator was imprisoned for preaching Christianity (3th –4th centuries). Visit the heart of the Vayots Dzor Wine Route - the Areni Cave, site of the oldest known winery in the world. Armenian wines have been gracing Armenian tables for at least 6000 years. Visit Areni winery for wine tasting. Visit Noravank Monastery (13th century) the masterpiece of medieval Armenian architecture, which is in a gigantic basin of miraculous cliffs. Drive to Goris. Overnight in Goris.

Day 4

    Goris – Tatev – Carahunge – Selim Caravanserai – Hayravank – Noraduz –Sevan Breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Excursion leads to the majestic Monastery of Tatev (9th century historical monument), a former center for the sciences and arts. Discover the beauty of the nature from “the sky” by Ropeway. Spanning 5.7 kilometers across the spectacular Vorotan River Gorge, the Tatev’s Ropeway is the longest passenger aerial tramway in the world. The “Devil Bridge” is the most beautiful and the most amazing natural miracle of Vorotan gorge. From the sides of the bridge are hanging charming stalactites and from the rocky slopes are dribbling cascades. Carahunge (Armenian Stonehenge) is 3,500 years older than England’s Stonehenge and 3,000 years older than the Egyptian pyramids. Main temple consisting of 40 stones built in honor of God of Sun is situated in the central part of Carahunge. Drive through Selim Pass visiting the Caravanserai (XIV c.), which used to be an important trade point in the famous Silk Road. Visit Hayravank , which is a 9th century Armenian monastery located just northeast of the village of Hayravank. Not far from Hayravank Monastery on the shore of Lake Sevan is the settlement of Noraduz famous for its big khachkars (cross stones) cemetery. There are about 900 khachkars of various styles and epochs there. The last stop in Sevan. Overnight in Sevan.

Day 5

    Sevan- Dilijan- Haghartsin- Goshavank-Yerevan Breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Excursion to “The Emerald of Armenia"- Lake Sevan , which is one of the highest freshwater lakes in the world, lying at 1950m above the sea level. Lake Sevan is home to Sevanavank monastery, located on the peninsula. Drive to Dilijan which is famous for its lovely surroundings, called the "Armenian Switzerland" by the locals, due to the densely forested valleys and mountains with alpine meadows surrounding them. Then visit to Haghartsin Monastery, one of the brightest and unique masterpieces of Armenian Architecture and outing to medieval Goshavank Monastery (12-13th century). Drive to Yerevan. Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 6

    Yerevan-Echmiadzin- Zvartnots- Yerevan Breakfast at the hotel. Tour to Echmiadzin the spiritual and administrative center of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Sightseeing Mother See of Holy Echmiadzin (4th Century) where treasures and relics of the church are preserved. The cathedral is included in UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites in 2000. Visit the ruins of Zvartnots, which was included on UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 2000. Last stop at Ararat Brandy Factory where you will have a chance to observe the history of brandy production, from grape to glass, witness the birth of famous Ararat Brandy. Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 7

    Yerevan-Garni-Geghard-Yerevan Breakfast at the hotel. On the road from Yerevan to Garni stop near Charents Arch for a beautiful view of Biblical Ararat Mountain. Tour to the Pagan Temple of Garni (1st century A.D.) the only standing Greco-Roman colonnaded building in Armenia. Soon after Armenia adopted Christianity, the temple became the summer residence of Armenian royalty. Visit Garni village, where we will take master classes in pottery, woodworking, carpet weaving and baking lavash. Next stop is Geghard –cave Monastery, the name geghard, derives from the relics of the Armenian Apostolic church: the spear that one of the Roman guards had used to pierce the rib of crucified Christ. The monastery is included in UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites. Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 8

    Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer from the hotel to the airport and check in for departure.
