About Package

Day 1

    Free day in Yerevan Arrival in Yerevan International airport Zvartnots. Transfer and hotel accommodation. Free day in Yerevan.

Day 2

    Yerevan city tour/ Tushpa Wine Cellar Breakfast at the hotel. A city tour in Yerevan, one of the ancient cities in the world: Republic Square, History Museum, Opera house then visit Erebuni Museum and the ruins of ancient Fortress, where you can see Yerevan’s “Birth Certificate”. Visit Victory Park to see the panoramic view of Yerevan. Visit Cascade, huge stairway gracefully connecting the downtown areas and the residential areas, located on the surrounding hills. Drive to Tushpa Wine Cellar, which is an old-fashioned winery, a family owned estate situated in the countryside of Ararat Valley with the magnificent view of Biblical Mount Ararat. We will taste Tusհpa Dry Red and White wines, 5 years old Arnak Armenian Brandy with Armenian cheese platter. Drive to Yerevan. Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 3

    Yerevan-Garni-Geghard-Dilijan-Haghartsin-Sevan / Voskevaz Wine Cellar Breakfast at the hotel. Check out. On the road from Yerevan to Garni stop near Charents Arch for a beautiful view of Biblical Ararat Mountain. Tour to the Pagan Temple of Garni (1st century A.D.) the only standing Greco-Roman colonnaded building in Armenia. Visit Garni village, where we will take master classes in pottery, woodworking, carpet weaving and baking lavash. Next stop is Geghard –cave Monastery, which is included in UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites. Drive to Voskevaz Wine Cellar. Voskevaz in Armenian means "golden bunch." "Golden bunch" is in the foothills area of the highest mountain in Armenia-Aragats, which is amazingly beautiful and diverse, and its land keeps cultural layers of ancient Armenian civilization. We will taste 2 Classic and 1 Vintage wines with cheese and bread. Drive to Dilijan which is famous for its lovely surroundings, called the "Armenian Switzerland" by the locals. Then visit to Haghartsin Monastery, one of the brightest and unique masterpieces of Armenian Architecture. Drive to Sevan. Overnight in Sevan.

Day 4

    Sevan-Echmiadzin-Zvartnots-Yerevan/ Karas Winery Breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Excursion to “The Emerald of Armenia"- Lake Sevan, which is one of the highest freshwater lakes in the world, lying at 1950m above the sea level. Lake Sevan is home to Sevanavank monastery, located on the peninsula. Tour to Echmiadzin the spiritual and administrative center of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Sightseeing Mother See of Holy Echmiadzin (4th Century) where treasures and relics of the church are preserved. The cathedral is included in UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites in 2000. Visit the ruins of Zvartnots, which was included on UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 2000. Drive to Karas winery. Karas, the winery name, means ‘amphora’ in Armenian, a sacred wine-making clay vessel used here for 6,000 years. We will have informative tour around picturesque vineyards, winery, and professional wine tasting for 4 wines of Karas classic line. Drive to Yerevan. Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 5

    Yerevan-Khor Virap-Noravank-Areni-Yerevan/ Stepanyans' Gastro Yard Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Khor Virap Monastery where the Biblical Mount Ararat reveals its breathtaking view when the weather is favorable. Sightseeing Khor Virap, where Grigor the Illuminator was imprisoned for preaching Christianity (3th –4th centuries). Visit Noravank Monastery (13th century) the masterpiece of medieval Armenian architecture, which is in a gigantic basin of miraculous cliffs. Visit the heart of the Vayots Dzor Wine Route - the Areni Cave, site of the oldest known winery in the world. Armenian wines have been gracing Armenian tables for at least 6000 years. Visit Stepanyans' Gastro Yard to see how is made armenian homemade wine and taste it. Drive to Yerevan. Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 6

    Yerevan-Amberd-Yerevan/ Armenia Wine Winery Breakfast at the hotel. Tour to Amberd, a 10th-century fortress located 2,300 meters above sea level, on the slopes of Mount Aragats. Drive to Armenia Wine winery, where we explore how to balance ancient traditions with the newest technology and, of course, we will learn how to taste and how to speak about wine by describing it! Drive to Yerevan. Walking tour on Saryan street , which is also called Wine street. Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 7

    Departure day Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer from the hotel to the airport and check in for departure.
